Team Lead DevOps

The company's team is working on creating a trading platform with innovative solutions that solve specific problems and satisfy certain customer needs. Company is also engaged in research and development of new technological solutions.Our head office is located in sunny, sometimes scorchy Larnaca, Cyprus, and we have an office located in Kyiv as well.

What we expect from our candidate is really in-depth knowledge and a deep understanding of what’s really under the hood.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software integration/DevOps
• 3+ years of experience as a Team Lead would be a plus
• Advanced experience with both self-hosted and cloud solutions
• Experience in Docker deployment and orchestration
• Ambassador of the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach 
• Expert understanding of Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment concepts
• In-depth understanding of networking fundamentals (switching, routing, load balancing, name resolution, etc.)
• Strong background in Linux and shell scripting
• Expertise with logging and monitoring systems
• English B1+
• Ukrainian as a native

You will deal with and be responsible for:

• Provide leadership and guidance to the DevOps team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with overall business goals
• Manage and coordinate the implementation of DevOps processes and best practices
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Oversee the design and implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines
• Lead the configuration and deployment of databases and orchestration clusters
• Drive the development and improvement of monitoring and logging systems
• Collaborate closely with developers and QA to optimize the software delivery process
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes at the leadership level
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of infrastructure and applications
• Provide regular updates and reports to upper management on team progress and key metrics
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
• Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new team members.
