We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer. It means that you are experienced in designing and developing highly performing and scalable integration applications for Insurance that meet the business requirements. The Senior Integration Engineer will be involved in large scale projects through all stages of the software development life cycle.

Senior Integration Engineer duties include determining the source and target systems, and understanding the data contract between the services and developing high quality API’s to get the information from multiple services.

The Senior Integration Engineer is responsible for building the structure of a software application. This role involves consuming application programming interfaces (API’s), data transformation, data enrichment and exposing application programming interfaces (APIs) that will eventually be utilized by other applications.

Requirements:

  • At least 6+ years of experience in integration technologies.
  • At least 4+ years of experience in Mulesoft
  • Experience in building complex Mule Flows, Scopes, Error Handling strategies, Message Filters, Validation, Transformation, Message Enricher and Flow Controls
  • Data Transformations using Dataweave, Flow Controls, Exception Handling Strategies and Security implementation using OAuth etc.
  • Experience in Mulesoft Anypoint RunTime version of 4.3 or higher, API design and development and exposure to API led connectivity methodology
  • Solid Programming skills using J2EE, Design Patterns, JMS, SOAP / REST Web Services, XSLT, CXF, Spring Framework, etc.
  • Should have strong knowledge of ESB, Mule Connectors, API Manager and Raml design;
  • Strong experience in the Application Integration Architecture Solution Design and Development using with SOAP and REST;
  • Experience in MuleSoft connectors (HTTP, DB, Salesforce, SOAP, Email, VM, Google Pub/Sub)
  • Strong SQL/NoSQL skills
  • Experience in Apache Camel/Kafka/Groovy
  • Experience in DataDog
  • Experience with such tools as Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, automated CI/CD
  • Solid software engineering career
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented development
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt new languages as needed
  • System environment: Windows and Mac OS X
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional, fast-paced setting
  • At least Upper-Intermediate level of English.


Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the solutioning and implementation team to develop features and functionality by writing transformation, API's, Microservices, and making scalability and maintainability improvements
  • Create RAML Specifications as API contracts for development
  • Understand and implement Dataweave scripts
  • Deploy APIs to Cloudhub, Runtime Fabric, On-prem workers, etc.
  • Practice API-Led Connectivity
  • Implement Basic Policies in API Manager
  • Create/Manage Basic CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Participate and occasionally facilitate solution design exercises with designers, enterprise architects and other engineers in order to thoroughly understand, document and implement requirements
  • Provide support and expertise for a multi-tiered environment; evaluate/recommend any additional infrastructure or software required to support our web applications.
  • Play an active role in defining and implementing best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of software products.
  • Develop munit tests, extend and enhance existing automated testing frameworks
  • Assist in developing and refining CI/CD pipelines for web applications, participate in deployment and release activities.
  • Roll out CMS patches and upgrades in order to maintain the security and integrity of our applications
  • Conduct research and proof of concepts for new features and processes
  • Willing to share knowledge, lessons learned with the team members.


Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform is a plus
  • Experience in Insurance domain is a plus
