Middle/Senior QA Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Middle/Senior QA Specialist to join the investment project.

The product is an investment platform for small and medium-sized businesses, where users can apply for financial assistance or find investors willing to support them. The main idea is to find a perfect match between clients and investors.

You will be part of a distributed international team.

What does the interview process look like?

- Recruiter interview — up to 30 minutes;

- Technical Interview — up to 1 hour.

- Technical Interview with client — up to 1 hour.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in software QA;
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git);
• Testing UI alongside designers and Figma to achieve great user experience;
• API testing including with Postman and OAuth2;
• End-to-end test frameworks e.g. Cypress;
• Programming in JavaScript or TypeScript would be preferable;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to keep all stakeholders informed;
• Working on a fast pace environment;
• Excellent understanding of what is “stub” and “mock” and when to use one;
• Solid ability to plan and estimate the work;
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of English.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases;
• Perform manual testing of applications;
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues;
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and specifications;
• Monitor and report on test coverage, test execution, and defect metrics;
• Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
