Challenges you'll meet:

AWS Cloud infrastructure development and maintenance (multi-account, multi-region, AWS Organization)
Multi-environment setup and support (Dev/QA/Stage/Prod)
CI/CD maintenance and setup; migration from Jenkins to Gitlab
Support and development of an internal python solution for deploying serverless applications
Maintaining and actively improving serverless projects with hundreds of Lambdas
Support for existing K8s clusters and migration to AWS EKS with ArgoCD.
Troubleshooting app issues/deployments/pipelines with developers

Your professional qualities:

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
AWS Cloud (Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, Route53, RDS, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM, EC2, EKS, SNS, SQS, VPC, Transit Gateway, ControlTower, LandingZone, SSO, RAM, etc.)
Infrastructure as Code — Terraform (CloudFormation for serverless stacks)
Kubernetes (migrating from kops to EKS), Docker, ArgoCD
Strong Linux experience (Ubuntu/Amazon Linux)
Automation with Python and Bash
GitLab admin experience
DB admin experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, OpenSearch) — HA, DR, tuning
CI/CD — Gitlab CI (migrating from Jenkins)
Monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, Graylog, CloudWatch)
English — Intermediate+

Nice to have:

Python as the primary programming language
AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM)
Serverless Architectures
Hashicorp products (Vault)
Mobile CI experience (iOS, Android)
