We are looking for a talented Localization Engineer to join our Localization Department, which localizes the company's games into 18 languages. A team of more than 10 specialists interacts with in-house Game Designers, Project Managers, Community Managers, and Video Production teams, as well as a studio in Israel, to accomplish their work across several different genres of games. Our specialists are based in Europe, Asia, and both North and South America, and they favor the use of Translation Memory systems.

The successful applicant will be able to work at our Warsaw office or remotely from Poland. 


Responsibilities:

  • Localizing game projects and translating into English and Ukrainian
  • Formatting, proofreading, and editing translations
  • Working with specialized software including computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, Git, Figma, and Unity Editor
  • Compiling localization kits
  • Reviewing technical documentation and using it as a basis for descriptions of interface elements and features
  • Finding and fixing localization errors
  • Filing localization bug reports
  • Advising translators on issues related to our games
  • Analyzing feedback from the Western game community


Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience working as a translator or a localization engineer
  • English language skills at the advanced level
  • Strong communication skills in both Ukrainian and English languages
  • Gaming experience and an understanding of common game mechanics


 Desired:

  • Skills in proofreading, editing, and writing technical documentation
  • Basic knowledge of SEO
  • Hands-on experience with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools
  • Knowledge of languages other than English and Ukrainian
