You are a Senior Software Developer that is looking to build thoughtful and beautiful applications. You want to use some of the latest technologies to create experiences that focus

on quality first. You’ll be working with a small team who use their creativity and ingenuity to

solve problems and knock the socks off our competitors.

Tech Stack

Frontend (web): React + Next.js frontend
Node.js API backend
AWS Infrastructure: Lambda, S3, CloudFront, EventBridge, CloudWatch
Other Infrastructure: GitHub
Databases: MySQL, Sequelize, Elastic Search

Responsibilities will include:

Build great software and customer experiences
Make recommendations (and implement them!) for how to improve overall software quality and our systems.
Write “self-documenting”, tested code that adheres to the Don’t Repeat Yourself (DRY) principle.
Provide maintenance and on-going support of past and future technical solutions.
Champion continuous improvement, improving our internal processes and code base
Managing and mentoring junior team members
Help guide system architecture and projects

Skill Requirements:

4 — 6 years experience in Software Development
Experience with all the usual suspects: Version Control, CI, Agile development, Test driven development
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React and Vue
Experience with Serverless and Microservice architecture
Experience with Test Driven Development and automation frameworks. (Cypress)
Familiarity with cloud architecture such as AWS or Azure
