We seek a skilled Lead Enterprise Architect to develop both new and maintain old features in Android apps running on a custom Android build, for the in-vehicle embedded systems. (The apps are built in Java but are being migrated to Kotlin.)

You will join a team of highly skilled developers at Sweden, world-known car manufacturer and the Product UX team.

Responsibilities:

You will ensure that the apps are following the design and guidelines delivered by the UX designers
You will deliver high-quality code and contribute your know-how by the way of code reviews, technical discussions, and Proof of Concept projects
You will enrich products with your own ideas, implement new features for the customers
Keep the Apps up to date with the latest technologies and architectural approaches while working in an agile environment

Requirements:

Experience working with Native Android development in Java / Kotlin, ability to produce clean and concise code
Experience working closely together with UX Designers with a heavy focus on the user experience
Strong knowledge of UI principles, patterns, and best practices
Proficient in Agile (SAFE) methodologies and Scrum and tools for tickets and collaboration (Jira/Confluence etc.)
Proficient understanding of code versioning (Git)
Strong collaboration skills for working tightly with stakeholders
8 to 10 years of experience as developer, with at least 5 within Android development

Will be a plus:

Experience in either of these areas iOS(Swift), Unity(C#) and/or Unreal
Experience in using Figma
Basic knowledge of network (vehicle) protocols such as CAN/LIN and TCP/IP
Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) concept
Rapid prototyping skills
