We are seeking a talented and experienced React Developer to join the "Homepage / Upper Funnel Experience" team of the world's largest home accessories' retailer from Sweden.
You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a new homepage, ensuring it delivers a personalized and adaptive experience to the global audience.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and have the opportunity to influence the direction of the product. This position requires strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React skills, as well as experience running applications in the cloud at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team to maintain and improve the new homepage for the biggest retail company, ensuring it meets high-quality standards and provides an exceptional user experience
- Develop and implement new features and functionality using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Work closely with UX designers, data analysts, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality
- Participate in the full lifecycle of product development, from ideation to deployment and post-production support
- Employ Infrastructure as Code practices to optimize and automate the deployment and management of the application
- Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to build and deploy JS/TS based applications at scale
- Maintain a strong focus on execution and delivery, consistently meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality code
Requirements:
- Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience building consumer
- Facing products for a global audience
- Collaborative mindset
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Strong JavaScript/Typescript + React skills
- Experience running JS/TS based applications in the cloud at scale
- Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS/GCP/Azure etc.)
- Experience working closely with UX designers, data analysts and other disciplines
- Familiarity with the DevOps model of development and QA within a single product team
- Strong focus on execution and delivery

- Experience with Contentful or similar CMS
- Experience with content modelling
- Experience working in an empowered product team setup
- Experience building solutions for large-scale ecommerce
