What you will do
- Lead the user experience design process, from concept ideation to final implementation.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs and behaviors.
- Translate user research findings and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Design and create intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure that design decisions are based on data and user feedback.
- Conduct thorough usability reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, and apply them to enhance our design processes and deliverables.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering their growth and development.
- Collaborate with developers during the implementation phase to ensure design integrity and resolve any design-related issues.
- Work closely with stakeholders to present and communicate design concepts, rationale, and benefits.
Must haves
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and successful projects.
- Expertise in user-centered design methodologies and usability principles.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile application design best practices and patterns.
- Ability to conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Excellent visual design skills, with an eye for typography, color theory, and composition.
- Solid understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior designers.
