Data Engineer

At Uvik Software, we're seeking a skilled Data Engineer to help us design, build, and maintain efficient data infrastructure and pipelines. You’ll play a key role in supporting various teams with reliable, high-quality data that drives insights and decision-making.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL processes to collect, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
• Develop and maintain workflows for data automation.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver efficient solutions.

Recquerements:

• Proven experience in a data engineering or similar backend/data-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow or similar).

• Design and optimize data warehouses and data lakes on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash) and version control systems (Git).
• Experience working with large data sets or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with data modeling best practices and performance optimization.
