As a Python Developer at our startup, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our complex, large-scale trading infrastructure. You will have hands-on experience in system development, ensuring that our platform operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of experienced developers to contribute to the growth of our algorithmic trading system.
- Use your expertise in Python development to build and enhance the new and existing system components.
- Work on both standalone modules and integrated APIs to ensure seamless functionality across the platform.
- Participate in design and architecture discussions, contributing to the overall improvement of the system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the system operates reliably under high-pressure trading conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, quantitative analysts, and product managers, to align technical solutions with business requirements.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of Python 2 and 3.
- Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale systems, preferably in the financial or trading domain.
- Familiarity with API development and integration, ensuring smooth communication between different parts of the system.
- Ready to work in an agile and fast-paced startup environment where adaptability and problem-solving skills are essential.
Will be a plus:
- Experience with .NET is a bonus.
- Experience with algorithmic trading systems, particularly in an automated trading environment.
