Accountant at INXY LTD (Crypto Domain)

INXY Payments is a fast-growing fintech startup based in Cyprus and Poland. We are creating the future of payment products based on Web 3. Our products are used by many companies in different industries (hosting companies, EdTech, marketplaces). We are looking for an experienced and proactive accountant in Poland with expert knowledge in fintech, an understanding of the cryptocurrency domain will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accounting and tax records using standards appropriate to the cryptocurrency industry:
• Ensuring full compliance with local requirements.
• Timely submission of fiscal and statistical reporting.
• Tax calculations and returns in accordance with local legal requirements.
• VAT returns, CIT, etc.
• Reporting to the National Bank of Poland and the Central Statistical Office.
• Independent preparation of financial statements, including for companies subject to mandatory audit and cooperation with auditors.
• Monitoring of settlements and confirmation of balances with counterparties.
• Identification of "sensitive topics" and their resolution (ongoing tax and accounting audit).
• Control of accounting/verification/inventory of fixed assets, etc.
• Process and analyze financial data including cryptocurrency transactions.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and legal requirements related to cryptocurrency activities.
• Participate in the development and optimization of accounting processes and implement new systems and tools to improve efficiency.
• Continuous communication with tax authorities.

It is important for us that you:

• Have a higher education in the industry;
• Have at least two years of experience in accounting in fintech industry in the Republic of Poland;
• Have an understanding of cryptocurrencies, their peculiarities, and legal regulation in the industry.
• Knew International Financial Reporting Standards (EU) and experience in preparing financial statements according to these standards.
• Possessed knowledge of tax legislation, and experience in calculating taxes, mandatory payments, and payroll.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting programs.
• Proficiency in MS Office software (especially MS Excel).
• Knew Polish and English at a high level.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work with large amounts of information.
• Be able to build effective relationships with colleagues.
• Knowledge of the Russian language would be a plus.
• Possessed responsibility, decision-making skills, and strategic thinking.
