Senior Java Engineer

Employer: Global Fintech Company

Location: Warsaw (hybrid work, at least 3 days a week from office)

Rate: 165 — 195 PLN per hour

Cooperation model: B2B or Employment Contract

Recruitment process: 1 timed Abstract and Logical Reasoning Test (up to 15 minutes); 1 short interview (up to 30 minutes)

Technology stack: Java (latest versions), Spring, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Microservices architecture on AWS

Your role is:

-> To work within a key problem space, addressing the client's immediate needs by designing, developing, and deploying backend services that prioritize scalability, high availability, and low latency;

-> To collaborate and grow in a dynamic and autonomous environment while working in small, agile and cross functional teams;

-> To use the latest technologies to solve real problems for customers at a massive scale;

-> To be part of a team that will take full operational responsibility for the services that you own, and potentially take part in an on-call rotation;

-> To share your knowledge and build creative solutions while helping the team evolve best practices.

Your skills and experiences:

-> 4+ years of experience with Java;

-> Experience with Spring and Spring Boot;

-> Knowledge of Kafka;

-> Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes;

-> Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch;

-> Experience working with microservices architecture and AWS;

-> Strong problem solving skills;

-> Excellent English skills (min B2 level).
