We’re opening the position of a Delivery Director in our company. The candidate will play a key role in meeting revenue, profitability, and quality targets within our existing accounts through the efficient management and support of Account Management and Production.
Ability to travel to the Client’s headquarters (Europe, the USA) may be required.
- Define vision and mission for the Delivery Division in accordance with the company strategy
- Work with the Executive Team to identify key strategic business priorities and opportunities
- Formulate and implement the strategic plan for the Delivery Department
- Define, maintain, and constantly improve the business model and respective business processes
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by developing unique service promises and delivering on those promises
- Support the overall company pre-sales strategy and engagement process
- Develop and maintain an appropriate organizational structure of the department that supports business needs
- Lead, guide, direct, and evaluate the work of the Delivery Department specialists
- Define and recommend objectives in each area of the Delivery
- Review and approve adequate plans for the control of planned outputs, production efficiency, and customer service
- Explore innovative ideas and solutions to meet Client’s needs
- Review and approve the setting of budgets throughout the Delivery
- Coordinate and collaborate with other company divisions in establishing and carrying out the responsibilities and meeting the company goals
- Monitor and maintain delivery profit margins on existing projects
- Achieve the company’s profitability goals and requirements as determined by the strategic plan
- 5+ years of project/department/division management experience in the IT industry
- Experience in managing large complex projects (100+ participants)
- Ability to travel to the Client’s headquarters (Europe, the USA) may be required
- Strategic visionary with the experience to tactically interpret and direct tactical application within fast-paced business environments
- Strong customer focus and established experience with implementation and analysis of business processes
- Significant knowledge of business and economic environment, as well as industry trends and issues
- Strong analytic and business process skills
- Ability to assess complex situations and make trade-off decisions
- Ability to handle high volume of inputs
- Good skills in staff development, feedback, strong influence, time and project management, budget development, and general management
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of forecasting, revenue reporting and project management financials
