WebSpellChecker offers a portfolio of turnkey AI-powered text correction solutions for engineers, businesses, and individuals. Our core product, WProofreader, is available as a software development kit (SDK) and a browser extension, which can be deployed as a SaaS or on-premise solution.
We are looking for a Business Analyst to help us continuously evolve our product, keeping it aligned with industry trends while maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Analyze client requests and market feedback to define underlying problems and how they can be solved.
- Collaborate with product teams to define and document clear requirements and specifications for new features.
- Prepare well-structured development tasks with clear acceptance criteria to ensure the engineering team has all the necessary context.
- Maintain internal documentation for product logic, feature behavior, and configuration options.
- Support the creation and updating of client-facing documentation.
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Upper-Intermediate level of English.
- Proven experience in writing technical documentation.
- Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of how AI, particularly transformer-based language modes models, works.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience working with payment systems (Stripe) and managing subscription-based product logic.
- Prior experience in an enterprise software environment (especially with API/SDK products), or in the linguistics or AI domains.
- A degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related technical or analytical field.
- Project management experience.
While you won’t be coding, a high-level understanding of our stack is beneficial for effective team communication:
- Frontend: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML/CSS, DOM.
- Backend: C++, PHP (Laravel), Java, and REST APIs.
- AI & NLP: In-house AI models and integrations with third-party services like AWS Bedrock.
- Infrastructure & Data: AWS, MySQL, and payment gateway integrations (Stripe).
- Browser integrations: Chrome, Firefox, and MS Edge extensions.
