Middle Automation QA Engineer

• A remote position opened in Poland 

What you will do

• Work tightly with the development team to incorporate API, structural, integration, regression functional and non-functional testing processes and tools;
• Design test cases, Write API/UI test scripts; Exploratory testing; Execute regression testing; and Bugs verification;
• Documents software defects, tracks the issues, and works towards resolution;
• Production deployment support and incident support.

Must haves

• 3+ years experience as an Automation Quality Assurance Engineer;
• Strong understanding of the quality assurance approaches;
• Understanding of QA and AQA process, on development, CI/CD, and Jira levels;
• Experience with test automation and tools such as Java with Selenium, Postman, TestNG, etc;
• Experience with API testing is a must;
• Java and OOP knowledge;
• Understanding of clean code principles;
• Strong knowledge of Stream API;
• Design patterns;
• Tools:
• Gradle, TestNg, RestAssured, AssertJ;
• Understanding of: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and System
• Testing, Unit Testing;
• Self-motivated, independent, and high-performance individual.

Nice to haves

• Testing asynchronous systems;
• MQ testingRelational / Non-relational DB testing;
• Experience with source control and automated deployment tools, specifically Git and Jenkins;
• Knowledge of the data exchange formats like JSON, etc;
• Great English level and communication skills for working in an agile distributed team.
