Technical project manager for ecommerce projects

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Technical Project Manager with technical background to join our team at Deveit. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating e-commerce projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project teams, coordinating tasks, communicating with clients, and optimizing existing processes to enhance project efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Lead and manage e-commerce projects based on WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget. Develop detailed project plans, defining project tasks and resource requirements.
2. Communication with Clients: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Gather client requirements, provide updates, and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.
3. Estimation Preparation: Work closely with development teams to prepare accurate project estimations. Provide clients with detailed and transparent cost and time estimates for project implementation.
4. Technical Project Analysis: Conduct technical project analysis to identify risks, challenges, and opportunities. Collaborate with development teams to address technical complexities and ensure project feasibility.
5. Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, tasks, and resources to ensure seamless collaboration among development, design, and QA teams. Regularly update and report project status to stakeholders.
6. Task Coordination: Assign tasks to project team members based on their skills and expertise. Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging effective communication and problem-solving.
7. Deadline Control: Implement and maintain effective project timelines to ensure timely delivery of milestones. Proactively identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to meet project deadlines.
8. Optimize Existing Processes: Continuously evaluate and optimize project management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and tools to streamline workflows and enhance project delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in web development, e-commerce experience is a big advantage.
• Solid understanding of the development process livecycle.
• Strong understanding of CMS and e-commerce platforms, web technologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Written and verbal English is a must.
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
