QA Automation Lead

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Specialist to join our team. As a QA Automation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our payroll system through the implementation and execution of effective test automation strategies. You will work closely with our development and testing teams to identify and automate critical test scenarios, ensuring the system functions flawlessly while adhering to complex business rules.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successfully implementing test automation in complex software systems.
• Strong proficiency in C# and SQL, with the ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
• In-depth knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools, with the ability to recommend and implement the most suitable solutions for our payroll system.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices, including test planning, test case design, and defect management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Will be a plus

• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing concepts.
• Experience working with payroll or financial systems would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the test automation process and lead the implementation of effective strategies for end-to-end testing of our complex payroll system.
• Collaborate with developers and testers to identify critical test scenarios and define appropriate automation frameworks.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report on test coverage and quality metrics.
• Identify areas for improvement in our testing processes and tools, and propose and implement solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest QA automation trends and technologies to continuously enhance our testing capabilities.
