QA Engineer

This role is with the ARRISE group powering Pragmatic Play.

Responsibilities:

• Go through the software requirements and get clarifications on one's doubts;
• Become familiar with the software under test and any other related software;
• Understand the master test plan and/or the project plan;
• Create or assist in creating your test plan;
• Generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents;
• Procure or create test data required for testing;
• Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated);
• Report test results;
• Update test cases based on the discovered defects;
• Support the team with testing tasks as required;
• Keep up-to-date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools (e.g. automated testing tools and test management systems) and the overview of the business domain.

Requirements:

• Working as Quality Assurance Engineer 1+ (Back-end);
• Good experience in Manual Testing of Web applications;
• Advanced skills in requirements analysis;
• Knowledge and practical experience working with SQL;
• Knowledge and practical experience working with GIT, Kibana, and Jenkins will be a plus;
• Deep understanding and experience in software development life cycle;
• Excellent skills in reading and analyzing logs to identify the root cause of a defect;
• Ability to prioritize test cases based on risk analysis;
• Multitasking skills;
• Intermediate English and Ukrainian or Russian;
• Strong communication skills;
• Gaming application expertise will be a plus;
• Integration testing using SOAP UI and Postman will be a plus.
