What you’ll do as a Senior Backend Software Engineer:

• Build and design our platform infrastructure;
• Extract our platform capabilities into our SaaS product;
• Deliver a great user experience that is super-fast for end users;
• Design and review code, troubleshoot, and act as a mentor to team members on technical matters;
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency;
• Test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability;
• Embrace and adopt AI-backed tools in your day-to-day job

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience with any object-oriented language and a will to learn our tech stack;
• Experience with relational databases (design and query optimization);
• Experience with distributed systems and message brokers;
• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Federation;
• Experience with SaaS development;
• Contribution to open source/ written gems;
• Self-directed, independent, and has proven experience owning complete features/products;
• Proficient in spoken and written English;
• Knowledge of Agile principles;
• B.SC in Computer Science, or equivalent – Advantage;
• Curiosity and passion to constantly learn new things;

Bonus points for experience with Ruby, Ruby On Rails, GraphQL, Apollo Federation, RabbitMQ, Python, Machine learning (including academic), Data collecting and analyzing.
