We are seeking a skilled Linux Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based infrastructure, including servers running Debian and Red Hat distributions. You will play a key role in upgrading production systems, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform, and providing ongoing support for our infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 4 years of proven experience as a Linux Engineer or similar role, with expertise in managing Debian and Red Hat distributions.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with hands-on experience using Ansible and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Linux administration tasks, such as user management, file system maintenance, and system configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes

English level

  • Upper-Intermediate

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Linux servers running Debian and Red Hat distributions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Perform routine Linux administration tasks, such as user management, file system maintenance, and system configuration.
  • Identify and address out-of-date Linux servers, ensuring they are updated or replaced to maintain security and compliance standards.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed to ensure uninterrupted operation of production systems.
  • Plan and execute upgrades for production systems, including operating system updates and software patches, to maintain system security and stability.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Ansible and Terraform to automate deployment and management of infrastructure resources.
