Node.js Engineer

Axon is looking for a Junior Node.js Engineer to join our team in Poland (Krakow office or remote). As a Node.js Developer, you will develop server-side logic, collaborate with business analysts, front-end developers, and optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.

You will join the project that operates with online video technology and content, creation video strategy, platform selection, development and project management. Works with Facebook and Youtube videos.

What you need for this position:

• About 1-2 years of relevant commercial experience in Node.js development;
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with such frameworks as: Express or Nest.js;
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming;
• Experience with RESTful APIs;
• Strong understanding of the OAuth 2.0 protocol and JWT;
• Experience with the PostgreSQL and TypeORM;
• Nice to have: AWS knowledge (not required);
• Experience in working with Agile methodology;
• Experience using the Git version control system;
• Intermediate+ level of English for communication with the team.

• Developing server-side logic using the Nest.js framework;
• Working closely with business analyst, frontend developers to improve existing and deliver new functionality;
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use;
• Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability.
