Backend Team Lead (PHP)

We're looking for an experienced Backend Developer Team Lead (PHP) to join our service company and support our esteemed international client, a leader in solutions and services for iGaming operators.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, AWS services, JavaScript, databases, Docker, Golang, and preferably experience with the Yii framework. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of developers in delivering high-quality software solutions.

Requirements and Qualifications: 

• 6+ years overall experience as a software developer 

• Proven experience 6+ years as a software developer with expertise in PHP, JavaScript, SQL,  Docker, Golang and Yii/Symphony/Laravel framework 

• At least 5 years working with code versioning tools e.g. Github 

• Solid understanding of web development principles and best practices, OOP, Architecture  and design patterns 

• Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS 

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional  teams 

• Experienced as developer from A product-based company is a huge advantage

 • A strong problem solving and analytical abilities, with focus on delivering high quality  solutions on time 

• Team player 

• High written and speaking English skills 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead a team of software developer, providing guidance, support, and mentorship 

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project  requirements and translate them into technical specifications 

• Design, develop, and maintain web based applications using best practices 

• Architect and implement scalable and reliable solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure 

• Manage SQL databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity 

• Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment of applications 

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards , performance, and security  practices 

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
