The Cloud Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's cloud computing strategy, including cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. This role involves close collaboration with the R&D team and business stakeholders to ensure the cloud infrastructure meets current and future business needs. The Cloud Manager will manage cloud environments, handle cloud-related projects, and ensure the security and availability of cloud resources.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Assess and evaluate cloud technologies to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Create roadmaps for cloud adoption, migration, and modernization.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud environments.
- Manage cloud resources, including provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and compliance standards for cloud environments.
- Ensure data protection and privacy in line with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and administrators.
- Collaborate with IT, development, and business teams to integrate cloud solutions effectively.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on cloud technologies and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Ruby on Rails Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in development.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, IoT, Ruby on Rails, SaaS, or Google Cloud, particularly in medical applications.
- A leadership or managerial role for at least 2 years is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services.
- Proficiency in cloud security principles and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
