Job Summary

We are looking for highly skilled, adaptable .NET/Node Engineers to join our Data Platform development team at Allvue. Come work with an agile team as we spread solid architectural design across our suite of products.

A successful Software Engineer at Allvue will be able to work in .NET and Node.js applications (with Typescript). This role will be front end focused but you will work on components that span front-to-back end. You'll also build and maintain pipelines to build, test and deploy your applications to AWS and Azure clouds.

Responsibilities

Build new products that will be the core of a new data platform that will serve the entire organization and all our clients.
Participate in the full software lifecycle from planning and design to deployment and maintenance of our applications.
Train and mentor other team members
Understand the current architecture and adapt it as necessary.
Understand the business to the point you can abstract an explicit requirement into an extensible solution.
Champion new ideas and technology to the team
Find new ways to make us more efficient.

Requirements

Excellent problem-solving abilities
Well-rounded personality
Enthusiasm for technology and finance
Demonstrated ability to be self-driven and work with minimal supervision.
Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
Enterprise-level .NET experience
Proficient understanding of Node.js and TypeScript
Proficient understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks (nUnit, Jest, Cypress, etc.)
Experience with Snowflake, SQL, and/or Kafka would also be ideal.

Education

Higher education / Degree or relevant technical certifications (preferred)
