Summary of Role

A PHP middle role will involve developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications. Responsibilities will include writing clean, efficient, and secure code, integrating data storage solutions, collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements, and troubleshooting/debugging issues. Additionally, might be involved in database management, version control, and working closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements.

YOU WILL

Develop and maintain scalable PHP applications using Symfony.
Manage microservices architecture.
Utilize and optimize MySQL queries.
Write unit and functional tests.
Collaborate on feature development.

YOU MUST HAVE

2+ years of experience in PHP and Symfony.
Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL
Expertise in SQL queries and performance optimizations.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experienced with version control systems, such as GitLab.
Understanding of API development and integration.
Ability to write technical documentation.
English level – B1 or above.

Rabbitmq
SOLR
Couchbase
AeroSpike
GraphQL

Preferred Qualifications

DevOps practices, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms
Experience with e-commerce sites that have large catalogs and inventory feeds.
Experience working with Big Commerce and/or OS Commerce platforms is a plus.

Will be a plus experience with one or more from the list: MongoDB, ELK, Redis, Memcached, Node.js

Base salary $2500-3500 gross.
