We are looking for an E-Commerce Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with developers, product owners, system administrators, and third-party vendors to drive the success of our e-commerce platform. You will support product management in defining and delivering a robust product roadmap while ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into functional solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, application owners, system administrators, and third-party vendors to maintain a strong product team and ensure a high-quality production environment.
- Support the E-Commerce team in product management, including ideation, delivery, and enhancement of the product roadmap.
- Work cross-functionally with Business and Product Owners, Stakeholders, and Technology teams to define and prioritize requirements.
- Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are well understood by the technology team at the required level of quality.
- Define compliance requirements and support their implementation into systems within a regulated industry.
- Foster an environment of successful delivery and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Understand business needs and effectively communicate technical issues in non-technical terms to business owners
- 1+ year of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in e-commerce. Retail experience is a plus.
- Strong ability to analyze business needs, break them down into prioritized, value-based components, and translate them into business rules and functional requirements.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., user stories, backlog tracking, story pointing, burndown metrics, velocity).
- Ability to align business knowledge with technology capabilities to solve business problems.
- Familiarity with major integration points between an e-commerce platform and ERP, financial, or retail systems.
- Experience in launching and/or supporting a global e-commerce platform.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), with a strong emphasis on clarity and conciseness.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Strong ability to maintain a long-term vision of a project’s objectives.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects/releases simultaneously.
- Fluency in Czech and English is required.
