Senior Automation/Manual QA Engineer (JavaScript, JMeter)

We’re opening the position of a Senior Automation/Manual QA Engineer (JavaScript, JMeter) to work on the project of our Customer – a leading SaaS and data analytics Company for energy exploration decision support, helping the oil and gas industry to achieve results better and faster. The Company’s predictive decision platform combines intelligence, analytics, tools, and services in one seamless system to deliver value at every stage of the E&P process.

Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the product quality
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript and Webdriver.IO to validate functional and non-functional requirements
• Perform performance testing using JMeter to identify and address system bottlenecks
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to identify and document test requirements
• Analyze test results, report defects, and work with the Development Team to resolve them
• Ensure that applications meet business goals through effective quality assurance practices
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a mix of manual and automation testing
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Webdriver.IO for automation testing
• Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
• Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience testing API endpoints
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating strong communication skills
• English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher
