POSITION PURPOSE
The Data Analyst will support Operations by transforming data into actionable insights, supporting decision-making processes, enhancing our data management practices, improving operational efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. This role is an individual contributor who is responsible for planning, executing and delivering each assigned one-time project or recurring process with limited input from others. The scope of daily responsibility will vary and will include problem solving, data mining, organizing data, analysis of trends, and presentation of findings to various levels of the organization, including the executive team.

REQUIREMENTS
- 4-year college degree preferred;
- Minimum 1-3 years of data analytics experience or obtained an Associate Certified Analytics Professional Certificate (aCAP);
- Software proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Python);
- Basic knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages preferred;
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred;
- Insurance or premium finance experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform data mining and extraction from various sources to support operations;
- Organize and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key findings;
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support;
- Present findings and recommendations to various levels of the organization, including the executive team;
- Support process improvement initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations;
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization;
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision making processes.
PERFORMANCE GOALS
The performance of the Data Analyst will be evaluated based on their effectiveness in meeting the following KPIs on an ongoing basis:
- Timeliness and Accountability: 100% of reports and dashboards delivered on time.
- Quality & Accuracy: Ensure that 100% of data visualizations and reports are completely clear and accurate.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: 100% Stakeholder satisfaction of data analysis and reporting outcomes.
- Insight Generation Rate: Establish at least 12 actionable insights generated from data analysis.
