We’re looking for a Senior macOS Engineer to join the team behind Eney, a brand-new product that’s just beginning its journey.
Eney is an AI companion designed to help Mac users stay organized, automate their routine tasks, and focus on what matters most.
This is a unique opportunity to directly shape how Eney evolves: from researching and experimenting with cutting-edge technologies (like Model Context Protocol) to building, launching, and analyzing real features. It’s hands-on product engineering where your ideas and expertise will have a tangible impact on the product’s future. As the product and team grow, you’ll also have the opportunity to drive technical decisions and mentor others.
If you’re eager to work at the forefront of macOS development and contribute to an ambitious new product, we’d love to hear from you!
- Drive the direction of Eney’s extensibility
- Solve how Eney can integrate and communicate with a wide range of applications, tools, and services
- Mentor the development of a diverse set of skills
- Enable Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, even engage with the official community — there are a lot of potential things we can bring
- Improve the extension framework and help vendors to extend Eney
- Adopt and experiment with various agents to enable code generation for skill development
- Take an active role in the Eney open-source community
- macOS/iOS development experience
- Profound Swift experience
- Profound computer science fundamental knowledge (memory management, concurrency, networking, data persistence, unit testing, profiling, system design, etc.)
- Modular project organization knowledge (dynamic/static libraries, linking, dependency management, etc.)
- Strong product mindset
- Experience in creating extensions and frameworks
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Native Ukrainian
