Trainee Node.js Developer

Axon is looking for a Trainee Node.js Engineer to join our team in Poland (Krakow office or remote). As a Node.js Developer, you will develop server-side logic, collaborate with business analysts, front-end developers, and optimize the applications.

What you need for this position:

• Strong program engineering knowledge: paradigms and templates, algorithms and data structures, etc.;
• Own open source projects / scientific projects / participation in hackathons;
• Knowledge of Node.js;
• Understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases;
• Academic education in informatics (computer or software engineering) will be a plus;
• Intermediate English for communication with foreign colleagues.

What you will be doing:

• Developing server-side logic using the Nest.js framework;
• Working closely with business analyst, frontend developers to improve existing and deliver new functionality;
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use;
• Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability.
