Team Lead KYC (Krakow)

Now we are looking for an experienced KYC Team Lead who is willing to provide high quality level of service to our customers. Your primary objectives will be to lead the KYC team and manage the related processes, including analysis of customer behaviour, customers identification & complex analysis, risk analysis based on KYC&AML procedures.

We need a hard-working, enthusiastic, caring and detail-oriented person with strong risk awareness & ability to maintain the highest standards of international regulations compliance. We do everything we can to make our clients happy, and that’s what we expect from candidates.

Your tasks 🧑‍💻

• Budget Planning and Cost Monitoring: Develop and manage budgets related to KYC software systems, ensuring optimal resource allocation and monitoring costs.
• AML Training and Remediation: Collaborate closely with the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to conduct training programs and lead projects aimed at eliminating deficiencies in anti-money laundering processes.
• Business and Product Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the business and product departments, providing guidance and support on compliance matters and assisting in the development of AML-compliant products and services.
• Quality Control: Implement robust quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the work performed by the KYC team, conducting regular reviews and audits.
• Team Management: Manage and lead the KYC team, ensuring the team operates effectively and efficiently, and mentor and train team members to enhance their operational quality.
• Process Improvement: Simplify and automate related processes, continually improving key performance indicators within the KYC department.

Requirements 🎯

• AML Compliance/KYC Experience: Previous experience in AML compliance and KYC is essential for this role, with at least 2+ years of experience performing AML/KYC reviews in the financial services industry.
• Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities, including at least 1+ year of experience managing a KYC team.
• Language Skills: Good knowledge of English (at least upper intermediate) is required.
• Customer Support: Experience in customer support is a plus.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the banking, payment system, or cryptocurrency exchange industry is a plus.
• Understanding of Cryptocurrency/Blockchain: Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies is advantageous.
