We are looking for a skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team.
It is important for us that you have:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or an IT or Big4 company
- University degree in Law
- Knowledge of corporate, commercial, and tax law
- Expertise in crypto and blockchain regulations would be an advantage
- Good communication and self-organization skills
- English level: B2/C1
You will be responsible for:
- Providing legally proven and practical advice regarding the operation of a blockchain project whose main activity is the tokenization of loyalty programs of various B2C online platforms as well as mobile applications
- Day-to-day legal and compliance support of the international group of companies’ business activities, including reporting, bank and PSP account opening, and communication with providers of legal, tax, and accounting services
- Analysis of various jurisdictions’ legislation (Ukraine, U.S., Cyprus, Poland, Lithuania) related to the launch and operation of current or new projects, including their structuring and/or reorganization, covering corporate, commercial, tax, and compliance matters
- Contractual work. Legal drafting and proofreading contracts of varying complexity, both with Ukrainian and foreign counterparties, including those governed by the law of foreign jurisdictions (for example, the law of England and Wales)
- Preparation and proofreading of various legal documents regarding the activities of B2B and B2C online platforms, mobile applications (Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, AML/KYC policies, etc.)
- Legal support of employment issues as well as individual entrepreneurs’ activities
