QA Automation Engineer (Networking)

PLVision is looking for a QA (Quality Assurance) Automation Engineer with excellent knowledge of Python and Bash, as well as hands-on experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols testing. As a QA (Quality Assurance) Automation Engineer, you will become an integral part of our team, responsible for verification of SAI-like API and enabling SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) OS support on the top of SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface) for a new router product.

Vacancy responsibilities:

1. Develop test plans and test cases
2. Execute automation testing
   
3. Report, investigate and debug issues
   
4. Develop and extend the test frameworkInvestigate and report test results

Vacancy requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software/Computer/Communication Engineering
2. At least 3 years of experience with Python
   
3. Test automation experience (Python/Bash)
   
4. Good knowledge of network protocols Layer 2/Layer 3 of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model
   
5. Hands-on experience with Network Protocol Testing (L2/L3)
   
6. Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools (Gerrit, Jenkins, etc.)
   
7. Familiarity with Linux as a working environment
   
8. Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
   
9. Understanding of Ethernet traffic analyzers: Wireshark, TCPDUMP, etc.
   
10. Knowledge of technical English at Intermediate level and higher
