Andersen, an international IT company, is looking for a Junior Python Developer to work on a project in the field of Fintech.
The customer is an Irish-based company that provides online commerce businesses with financing to grow their businesses. The company currently operates in 11 markets worldwide and is backed by a number of leading FinTech investors, including DST Global, QED Investors and Left Lane.
The project aims to develop SME lending through a partner ecosystem.
Technology stack: Python, SQL, Django, Postgres, Pandas, Airflow, Сelery (or similar), Github Actions, CI/CD, Distributed Systems, AWS, O11y, Microservices, Honeycomb, Sentry, WebSockets, RESTful.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining microservices using Django and Postgres for request processing and functionality delivery via RESTful API.
- Designing and implementing ETL processes using Pandas for real-time data processing and analysis.
- Integrating with external systems through RESTful services, with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Organizing work with tasks in queues using Celery or similar tools for asynchronous processing.
- Working with distributed systems and configuring AWS infrastructure to ensure application scalability and reliability.
- Monitoring and logging using tools like Honeycomb, Sentry, and O11y to enhance system visibility and issue diagnostics.
- Handling large volumes of data and optimizing queries in Postgres and other databases.
- Developing and maintaining WebSockets for real-time functionality.
- Participating in architecture and database design, adhering to clean code principles and testing best practices.
Must-haves:
- Experience in Python development for 1.5 years.
- Knowledge of Django and Postgres, including query optimization and handling large datasets.
- Experience in developing and maintaining a microservices architecture.
- Strong proficiency in RESTful API development and integration with external services.
- Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes using Pandas.
- Knowledge of Celery or similar tools.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure configuration.
- Experience with Honeycomb, Sentry, O11y, or similar monitoring tools.
- Ability to work with CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with WebSockets. - Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
