Middle React Native Engineer

We are seeking a talented React Native Engineer to join us at BCD Travel — a leading travel management and meetings company.

As a key member of our TripSource mobile development team, you will contribute to building exceptional user experiences for our customer-facing mobile application. You will join our mobile team at an exciting time, helping to shape and build products that delight our users.With a product-focused mindset, you'll translate user needs into technical solutions and collaborate on features that drive business value.

You'll work with our stack of modern mobile technologies, including:

• React Native (Typescript, Redux, React, Yarn, React Testing Library)
• Native iOS/Android technologies (Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective C)

Our development approach embraces DevOps practices using technologies such as Jenkins, Selenium, Appium, SonarQube, and Bitrise to deliver a high-quality mobile experience.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with product managers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical implementations
• Build and maintain features that enhance the user experience of our mobile applications
• Contribute to UX/UI discussions, bringing a technical perspective to product decisions
• Help identify opportunities for product improvement through user feedback and analytics
• Participate in testing and quality assurance to ensure a seamless user experience
• Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing with team members
• Help troubleshoot and resolve product issues to maintain high user satisfaction

You certainly have:

• 4+ years of commercial development experience, with a focus on mobile applications and React Native
• Product-oriented mindset with understanding of mobile UX/UI best practices
• Ability to empathize with users and translate their needs into technical solutions
• Experience with mobile app analytics and performance optimization
• Familiarity with App Store and Google Play submission processes
• Self-driven and motivated individual who is curious about new technologies
• An individual with a sharp focus on the finer details and micro-interactions
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with product managers and designers
• Experience working in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of mobile design patterns and responsive/adaptive design principles
• BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience
• English – B2 or better (both written and spoken)
• Already located in the EU or Ukraine and can legally travel abroad if needed (the majority of the team is Poland-based)
