Position: Presale Manager with Project Management Responsibilities

Sim-Networks Ukraine is looking to expand its team with a skilled Presale Manager who will also take on Project Manager functions.

Candidate Requirements:

We are seeking a professional who possesses:

  • A solid understanding of hosting services architecture and benefits, including cloud services, dedicated servers, data storage systems, networking equipment, etc.;
  • Experience working with leading hardware vendors (DELL, HPE, Supermicro, Cisco, Juniper, etc.) and familiarity with core product categories: storage systems, servers, network equipment;
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization systems and their licensing models;
  • Basic understanding of monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions;
  • Knowledge of standard IT services commonly used in mid-sized companies (Active Directory, DNS, terminal servers/farms, file servers, mail systems, database servers, domain controllers, websites, IP/PBX, etc.);
  • Understanding of telecommunications network principles (TCP/IP, L2/L3, VPN, etc.), switching, routing, and virtual networks;
  • Knowledge of data storage types and protocols (iSCSI, SAS, FC, InfiniBand, NVMe, PCIe);
  • Proficiency in office and project management software: Word, Excel, Visio, Draw.io, CRM systems, Jira, etc.;
  • Experience in preparing technical specifications, schematic solutions, and tender documentation;
  • English language skills sufficient for participating in meetings and conducting business communication;
  • Knowledge of the German language will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the sales process of additional company services for new and existing clients;
  • Conducting product and solution presentations for customers;
  • Supporting the sales process as a technical consultant during negotiations;
  • Analyzing and evaluating the technical requirements of potential clients;
  • Communicating with customers’ technical teams during presale activities;
  • Providing technical consultations regarding the company's products and solutions;
  • Collaborating with the marketing team in preparing competitive analysis and product reviews;
  • Offering technical support to new clients during the service testing phase;
  • Assisting existing clients with the launch of new services;
  • Contributing to the development of the company’s product portfolio and generating new ideas;
  • Actively participating in internal company processes aimed at improving operational efficiency.
