RESPONSIBILITIES

✅ Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a SONiC-based networking solution

✅ Oversee and mentor a team of engineers, driving best practices in development, CI/CD, and testing

✅ Optimize network performance, security, and reliability within the SONiC ecosystem

✅ Collaborate closely with product managers, customers, and partners to define technical requirements and roadmaps

✅ Contribute to open-source communities and stay up to date with the latest advancements in SONiC and networking technologies

✅ Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and software issues

✅ Ensure the product meets enterprise-grade performance, security, and compliance standards

REQUIREMENTS

🔹 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

🔹 5+ years of experience in network software development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role

🔹 Strong expertise in SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud), SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface), and related networking technologies

🔹 Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Go for network software development

🔹 Experience with switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, etc.)

🔹 Hands-on experience with Linux networking, network orchestration, and automation

🔹 Strong understanding of cloud networking, data centers, and SDN architectures

🔹 Experience with containerized environments and CI/CD workflows

🔹 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex networking issues

🔹 Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate across teams

🔹 Experience contributing to the SONiC open-source community

🔹 Experience with ASIC vendors and their SDKs

WOULD BE A PLUS

🔹 Good understanding of underlay and overlay networking technologies such as VxLANs

🔹 Knowledge of traffic management and QoS in data center networks

🔹 Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker)

🔹 Experience with SAI/SONiC
