Solution Architect (PHP, Symfony)

We are inviting an experienced Tech Lead / Solution Architect (PHP, Symfony) to join our client’s e-commerce project — one of the largest and most successful product IT companies in Ukraine.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing architecture for high-load systems (from tens of thousands to millions of users);
• Providing technical leadership and supporting development teams to achieve project goals;
• Participating in strategic planning to build effective architectural solutions;
• Creating prototypes (PoC) to validate key architectural aspects;
• Developing and implementing best practices to foster a strong DevOps culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Deep understanding of architectural patterns: Microservices, Event-Driven, SOA, Monolith;
• Ability to analyze business requirements and turn them into effective technical solutions;
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes;
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and scaling;
• Mandatory hands-on programming skills in PHP (Symfony);
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis;
• Understanding of DevOps principles and automation approaches;
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Sentry;
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA), Fault Tolerance, and Load Balancing concepts for scalable systems.

AS A PLUS

• Experience with Node.js;
• Ability to assess technical risks and develop mitigation strategies;
• Experience building PoC (Proof of Concept) and MVP (Minimum Viable Product);
• Ability to work with architecture modeling tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io, C4 Model, etc.).
