We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Full-Stack JavaScript Developer (back/front — 50/50) to strengthen our client’s team.

The client is a financial services company providing full-cycle fund administration, CFO and controller services, and portfolio analytics for venture capital, private equity, and real estate investment funds.
The client also develops proprietary software that streamlines investor relations, fund accounting, and KPI monitoring processes.
They support over 36 funds worldwide, helping them manage operations efficiently and maintain financial transparency.

About the role
We are looking for a Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to join our product team and help us build and evolve modern web applications. You’ll work across the stack with React on the frontend and Node.js (Express & NestJS) with MongoDB on the backend. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to ship features end-to-end.

This position is 100% remote, with a distributed team and async-friendly communication.

Tech stack
• Frontend: React, TypeScript (nice to have), modern React ecosystem (hooks, context, etc.)

• Backend: Node.js, Express, NestJS

• Database: MongoDB

• Infrastructure: AWS (a strong plus – e.g. Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, etc.)

• Tools: Git, REST APIs, JSON, CI/CD tools

Key responsibilities
• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end features in our web applications (frontend + backend).

• Implement responsive UI components in React based on UX/UI designs.

• Build and maintain REST APIs using Express and NestJS.

• Model and optimize data structures and queries in MongoDB.

• Participate in code reviews, propose improvements, and maintain high code quality.

• Collaborate with product and design to refine requirements and deliver reliable solutions.

• Help improve performance, security, and scalability across the stack.

• Write tests (unit/integration) and contribute to continuous integration and deployment practices.

Requirements
• 4–6 years of professional experience as a Full-Stack or Backend/Frontend developer.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Solid experience with React in production projects.

• Hands-on experience with Node.js, specifically Express and NestJS.

• Good understanding of MongoDB (schemas, indexing, performance basics).

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON.

• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a remote environment.

• Good written and spoken English.

Nice to have
• Experience with AWS (deploying and operating applications in the cloud).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).

• Basic understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, OWASP basics).
