Senior Node.js Developer

The company’s product is a Trading Platform.

As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will work on core backend functionality for a next-generation backend platform for corporate financial operations. Your responsibilities will include architecting and implementing complex integrations with various payment gateways, card processing systems, and international transfer services, ensuring high reliability, consistent data flow, and seamless transaction processing for business clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to develop applications and services following Agile methodologies
• Produce secure, efficient, reusable, and well-tested code
• Design and deliver high-performance, low-latency, and highly available applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across multiple systems when needed, while also researching industry trends and proposing improvements
• Build and maintain server-side logic and manage the central database
• Review code written by other team members and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure strong performance and responsiveness for front-end requests and other internal services

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position
• Excellent command of English
• Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and its characteristics
• Experience integrating multiple data sources and databases into a unified system
• Knowledge of core design principles for scalable applications
• Experience designing database schemas that support business workflows
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and writing unit tests
• Good understanding of version control systems such as Git
• Experience working with Nest.js
• Previous experience in financial services is a plus
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes will be considered an advantage
