This is a gambling company previously named Cloverteck that is part of Playnetic, specializing in developing a platform for both casino and sportsbook services.

Pros:

  • Product presents several technical challenges that are particularly engaging from an engineering perspective, including:
    • High load handling
    • Microservices architecture
    • A modern tech stack

  • The social benefits include 25 days of vacation.

  • The team here comprises some wonderful individuals.

Overall, my experience was positive thanks to the great team environment, although it’s worth noting that some team members unexpectedly left or were fired in a single day.

Cons

  • Payment is typically received at the end of the month, reflecting the work completed in the previous month. On average, payments are made around the 25th.
  • My contract was terminated with one month’s notice, but I was not compensated for the last two months of work, and my follow-up inquiries did not receive a response.
  • If you choose to leave or are terminated on one day, accrued vacation time will not be compensated.
  • The company lacks its own independent top management; key decisions appear to come from Playnetic.
  • Communication with management often lacked transparency.
  • Turnover was high, with some colleagues leaving suddenly, which created instability.
  • There is no clear pathway for career advancement.
  • The HR function was inconsistent and went through multiple changes during my time there.

Recommendation to management:
Ensure timely salary payments and communicate transparently with employees. Sudden layoffs without notice and a misleading public image will only harm the company’s reputation further.

I would like to share a very negative experience I had while working on a project for Playnetic.

I was engaged through AFM Consulting Limited (UK company no. 14758231) to provide consulting services as a team leader for Playnetic.

Why am I writing here, read Boris’ post or here:
https://www.linkedin.com/posts/yevhen-kytmanov-8147a9167_playnetic-yep-my-profile-states-that-i-worked-activity-7368602538306199553-qOLs?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAAwE4NkB-kK8ElEpiF0apJYqEoKtBQ1fdi0

I fulfilled my obligations, completed the agreed work and issued invoices. However, AFM Consulting Limited did not pay me for two months of work.

Despite numerous reminders, the payment was not made.

I am very disappointed that a project involving such a well-known company as Playnetic has led to this situation due to its subcontracting agreements.
I hope that Playnetic will review how its contractors process payments, as this practice damages trust and reputation in the industry.

I wonder what Andriy thinks with his vast professional experience, whether he considers the company's actions inappropriate to take such actions in such difficult times with people.
Perhaps he can advise on how to resolve this professionally.
