GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced AD/ADAS Lead Diagnostic Engineer to join our engineering team.

As an AD/ADAS Diagnostic Engineer, you will be involved in the development of ADAS features, including semi and fully-automated driving systems and enablers. You will be responsible for diagnostic concept definition for basic functionalities, hardwired and Over The Air flashing. You will also coordinate the execution of related tasks, such as hardware, functional and system diagnostic requirements definition, diagnostic strategy, CDD/Diagnostic Definitional Table (DDT) creation. We need you to lead interactions with vehicle teams, core electrical teams, core system engineering teams, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of direct experience in developing automotive diagnostic specifications
  • Experience in authoring System/Component level requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of UDS standards and DOiP protocols
  • Basic knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet
  • Experience with hardwired flashing and OTA
  • High skills in problem-solving, working for discontinuity, leading change
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Being accountable, autonomous and able to work within a team and by objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-evolving environment with ambiguous requirements
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis to identify integration issues
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of IBM Doors or similar Requirements Management Tools
  • Experience with CANanlyzer, CANoe, CANdela, PREEVision
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR software architecture

Responsibilities:

  • Performing, supporting and managing the execution of diagnostic and flashing tasks
  • Reviewing current diagnostics/flashing/OTA standard requirements norms
  • Defining detailed strategy related to basic diagnostic functionalities, flashing and OTA for each ECU of the ADAS/AD system application
  • Coordinating proper technical working group to achieve the HW, system and functional diagnostic requirements (DTC matrix, recoveries, plausibilities)
  • Interacting with vehicle and core electrical diagnostic teams
  • Defining DoIP Ethernet messages
  • Defining HW ECUs requirements needed to accomplish the diagnostic/flashing and OTA needs
  • Supporting product development
