Our extensive network includes partnerships with over 100 acquiring banks globally, ensuring high conversion rates and seamless transaction experiences for our international client base. Our target clients are high-volume, low-risk companies selling their goods and services online.

We are embarking on an exciting phase of expansion, focusing on establishing a local market presence within the EU. We aim to create dedicated local sales teams, steered by adept Country Managers, to attract and service large enterprise clients in each specific EU country.

Role Summary

As our Country Manager for Poland, you will drive our expansion in the Polish market. Your primary objective will be to establish Solidgate as a preferred online payment provider for large enterprise clients and medium-sized businesses. You will lead local sales teams, driving sales strategies and operations to meet our ambitious growth targets. Your role will also be pivotal in enhancing our brand presence and overseeing local operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the establishment of Solidgate's local market presence in Poland
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plan specific to the Polish market
  • Manage, coach, and expand a dedicated local sales team
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key enterprise clients
  • Ensure the regional strategy aligns with global company objectives
  • Monitor market trends and analyze competitors to improve business performance and product offering
  • Participate in negotiations with local partners: suppliers, banks, regulators, and local payment methods

Candidate Profile

  • At least five years of fundamental experience in the online payments industry
  • Strong understanding of the Polish fintech, e-commerce, and payments market
  • Established a network of enterprise-level contacts in the industry
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Polish and English
  • Highly organized and capable of working hard and getting things done
