Middle PHP Developer (Laravel + React.js)

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

We are seeking talented and motivated Mid-Level Full Stack Web Developers to join our LevelUp internship program. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in at least one framework, both front-end and back-end, ideally with Laravel and React. This role involves closely working with experienced mentors to lead teams of intern junior developers through hands-on, team-oriented projects, learning key concepts and best practice of web development.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in full stack web development.

Technical Skills:

• Exhibit strong knowledge of JavaScript ecosystem tools and frameworks, including but not limited to  Node/NPM, Webpack, and Yarn.
• Solid experience and proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, preprocessors, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js (React is strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding and utilization of JavaScript ES6 features.
• A strong grasp of TypeScript, including proficiency in utilizing utility types.
• Experience with at least one MVC back-end framework, ideally Laravel
• Experience working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Proficient with Git
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of Agile development practices such as Scrum, and continuous integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Participation: Participate as a team lead in the LevelUp Academy internship program, focused on producing well-rounded, strong junior developers. Through training sessions with our senior mentors, you will learn how to be an effective leader and how best to support, guide, and mentor junior developers throughout the course.
• Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using modern web technologies.
• Front-End Development: Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, TypeScript and React.
• Back-End Development: Develop server-side logic, integrate databases, and ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications using Laravel and other relevant technologies.
• API Integration: Design and integrate RESTful APIs to connect front-end and back-end services.
• Code Reviews and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster their growth and development.
