Data Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our talented people helping us make the most of our priceless data. In this position, you will analyze complex issues, effectively solve problems, and proactively investigate and recommend ways to achieve improvement. The ideal candidate will combine technical skills with deep business understanding. 

• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tool
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
  
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
  
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Databricks.
  
• Familiarity with Azure.
  
• Experience with Delta tables.
  
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
  
• Understanding of dimensional modeling and star/snowflake schema design.
  
• Understanding of medallion architecture.
  
• Experience with development using PowerBI or other visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlickview, Looker. 
  
• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including data profiling, statistical analysis, and data mining.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data-related issues.
  
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and present insights.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business users.
  
• Strong documentation skills to create clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data management, BI tools, and database technologies.
  
• Participate in training programs, webinars, and industry conferences to enhance your skills.
