Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of Java-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional and client teams to ensure cohesive delivery of software solutions.
• Drive innovation by recommending and incorporating the latest cloud and software technologies.
• Provide architectural mentorship and guidance to development teams during project lifecycle.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for critical systems.

Required background and skills:

• Experience in start-up; fast-paced environment.
• 7+ years of software architecture and engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Java.
• AWS services expertise (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, EKS, ECS, etc.). Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
• Expertise in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for Java and JS applications.
• Solid understanding of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
• Hands-on experience leading and implementing large-scale, resilient projects.
• Experience managing and advocating for customer issues or needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both business and technical presentations.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.
