We’re looking for a Senior .NET/React Engineer to join our team and help rebuild and scale a next-generation investment platform designed for institutional investors and funds.
This is a long-term project for a US-based early-stage fintech product company focused on optimizing document flows, portfolio insights, and compliance in the private investment space. You’ll play a key role in transforming a prototype MVP into a production-grade, scalable SaaS platform, working closely with a distributed product team.
- Take ownership of modernizing a legacy portal by rewriting it using React and .NET 9
- Implement portal automation features, including secure credential handling, CAPTCHA and MFA bypass, and robust scraping solutions
- Refactor and design new RESTful APIs to replace monolithic logic
- Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders to improve fragmented document workflows and support complex compliance scenarios
- Participate in architectural decisions related to frontend structure (microfrontends are a plus)
- Engage in Agile-like development processes with daily standups and evening syncs (calls typically happen around 18:00–19:00 Kyiv time)
- Ensure the delivery of maintainable, testable, and scalable code
- 4+ years of experience with .NET (preferably .NET 8 or 9) and C#
- Strong skills in frontend development using React (or Blazor/Razor with willingness to work with React)
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and clean architecture
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and ORM libraries like Entity Framework or Dapper
- Familiarity with authentication and security best practices (JWT, ASP.NET Identity)
- Ability to work independently and drive solutions from concept to implementation
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher for direct communication with client-side team
- Availability for regular evening meetings with the client
Nice to have:
- Experience in fintech, investment platforms, or complex document management systems
- Knowledge of Azure services (Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Document Intelligence)
- Previous work with microfrontends architecture
- Familiarity with AI/NLP tools like OpenAI or Claude (Anthropic)
- Hands-on knowledge of tools such as MathNet.Numerics, Newtonsoft.Json, or ClosedXML
- You’ll work on a product that automates high-impact processes for real users
- The team values autonomy, proactivity, and responsibility
- Opportunity to influence architecture and product decisions from the ground up
- Flexible work environment and remote-friendly culture
- Direct collaboration with experienced professionals: backend engineers, designers, and product leaders
- Competitive compensation and long-term project stability
If you’re a self-driven engineer passionate about clean architecture and modern product development — we’d love to hear from you.
Apply now to join a team building cutting-edge fintech software from the ground up.
