We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer — Python to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Python and Angular, along with the ability to contribute in a fast-paced, product-building environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-native applications, data platforms, and modern software development practices.
The size and the structure of the team:
Team composition will be around 2-3 .NET, 2-3 Python and 1-2 QA.
Work schedule and location:
The position requires a hybrid work format and office attendance in Krakow, Poland.
- At least 4 years of experience as Software Developer
- Mandatory experience with Angular for frontend development
- Clean coding methodologies (SOLID, YAGNI)
- Fluency in SQL, Python, Unix/bash scripting
- Strong experience with Flask, NumPy, Pandas, and related Python libraries
- Be familiar with best practices in microservices, OOP design patterns, queuing patterns, asynchronous programming (both asyncio and celery-like)
- Strong communication skills, ability to deliver code to production with feedback and document design decisions
- Databases SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL
- English level — B2

Previous experience preferred:
Domain will be financial services. Domain knowledge will be good to have but not necessary.
- Work in a start-up mode environment, contributing to architecture and core product decisions
- Design and develop a scalable SaaS-based Data Fabric and Data Mesh platform that supports seamless data access, integration, modeling, analytics, and monetization
- Drive end-to-end product development from scratch using best-in-class backend and frontend technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, frontend engineers, and DevOps for delivering robust solutions
- Conduct peer code reviews and enforce adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Work with the DevOps team to streamline build, testing, and deployment processes
