Fullstack Developer (PHP)

Assignment description

Our client is looking for a full-stack developer to further develop their web platform. The focus will be on the backend with a ratio of approximately 80/20 (backend/frontend). A developer with strong expertise in Elasticsearch and experience working with API/integrations.

Technical stack: PHP 8.5, Laravel (latest version), WordPress, MySQL, Vue.js, CSS, Docker, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, GCP.

About the team

The team consists of 1 CTO (hands-on), 1 backend & 1 frontend.

Must haves

- At least 5 years of experience with PHP/Laravel.

- Strong expertise in indexing, complex querying, and performance tuning of Elasticsearch.

- Advanced knowledge of MySQL and Redis.

- Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating external services.

- Competence in Vue.js and basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for handling necessary UI tasks.

- Familiarity with integrating with or extending WordPress.

- Experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- At least Upper-Intermediate English level.

- Excellent communication skills and experience working in small teams.
